RAPTOR 1000 In line with the ethos of ‘body, soul and mind’ that is so well depicted by the Celtic cross that symbolizes this bike, the Raptor 1000 has a sportier look beautifully highlighted by the front cowl. Perfect balance is achieved with the lower steering column set back by 15mm, offering a much better riding position and better overall weight distribution (50/50 including the rider). Fitted with a steering damper, anti-slip saddle material for the rider and roomier seat for the pillion the Raptor 1000 does ensure comfort and piece of mind.   Power is delivered by a 996cc 90° V-twin DOHC fuel injected engine that produces the smooth horsepower needed in any part of the rev range. To eliminate rear wheel bounce through excessive engine deceleration, the engine is fitted with an intelligent system that induces 30% clutch slip under hard braking.   The Raptor 1000 is a rider’s machine and boasts in true sense of the word versatility.
